Hello Biblicalapedia Community. Today I was wondering if I could get some feedback concerning disambiguation articles. Currently our wiki has 699, while having 20+ disambiguation pages. Considering the amount of content our wiki has, comparing to large wikis, we have a relatively large amount of disambiguation articles, proportionally for our size. This is most likely due to the nature of the wiki's content, and having many people or things in the Bible with the same name. Some examples of that include John and Mary. Often times there are articles that have the name of several indiviual things in the Bible. Therefore these articles are created with a little information about each. Most of the times, in order to quickly disambiguate them, they are made into disambiguation pages that heavily strip away the content. I was wondering if you all thought that we should keep our current articles in Disambiguation in the namespace, or convert them all to mainspace? Often times there are also dismabiguation pages for only two or so things and I was wondering if you all thought it would be more appropiate to have a template that says did you mean and reserve disambiguation for articles that more than 2 of those with a name. Please post your feedback in the comments below on how much we should focus on disambiguation (currently I have list of several articles that need to be disambiguated, many of them only having two objects and the content ends up being heavily stripped away).
