Is it true that sometime within the next few months Christ is going to come back and take 30 percent of the human race to Heaven with him? In other words, is there a rapture around the bend? Any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated.

Out of curiousity where did you get your specific ideas on it occuring within the next few months and 30% of humanity being raptured? Something you need to always consider when listening to ideas about the Bible outside of the Bible is, does it align with, contradict or add to the Bible. This prophecy doesn't have any proof in the Bible and i would doubt if there is any evidence other than claiming to be a prophet from God.
There are several passages that mention Jesus Christ taking the believers up to Heaven[1], so this idea is plausible. There is no mention in Scripture of Jesus taking 30% of humanity, only taking His church with Him. This idea adds onto the Bible and its apocylaptic prophecies, which means it must be sharply rebuked as false[2]. Purposefully, one of the places where this is condemned in the Bible in the Book of Revelation; the entire thing is an apoclayptic book. Having false prophecies about the end times have been around for a long time and they continue today.
That being said the only thin gwe are told in the Bible about when the Day of Jesus's return is "soon" or "near". Nobody, no Angel, not even Jesus knows exactly when, only God does[3]. Everything I just gave you here is all very brief. I encourage you to do a web search or look up in a topical Bible about false prophets and the Day of Judgement. You will be able to find many more verses beyond what I've covered here. I have some opinions of my own what "soon" means but they aren't directly affirmed by Scripture, but if you are interested I can share (so they can't be taken as God's Word).
This prophecy you are referencing can't be trusted. It adds onto the Bible and is not of God. Since no one knows when Jesus will return we must be prepared and must be preparing others as of it were coming very soon. We must not despair though as in the end if the Day of Judgement comes in our lifetimes Earthly things will no longer matter. I hope this knowledge I am sharing with you helps root you stronger in the Bible (thus preparing you even more for the time in which you will see Christ).

According to here, about 1/3 of the human population claim to be Christians. However, if faced with persecution, how many would stand firm in that claim? Those that would likely would be the ones taken up in the rapture. See Matthew 13:24-30 for possible evidence of this.
I gather that the "within the next three months" is tied to the kings of the north and south being identified with Putin and Obama. I have seen this a lot on the net. After mid-January, President Obama will be out of office, removing the "king of the South" from the prophetic scene[1]. The rumblings in Russia towards war in the Middle East are ripe for "prophecy" being "fulfilled." However, this chapter most likely was completely fulfilled in the wars following the breakup of Alexander's empire.
The speaks in pictures of division of God's people from amongst the rest of the world. The "tares" (weeds) will be separated from the wheat[2], the bad fish from the good fish[3], and the goats from the sheep[4]. These are all times of judgment. There are interpretive differences as to when these judgments occur in relationship with each other and with the second coming.
The point is, as SDS wrote, prophecies of today are not like those of the Bible. We can look at what is happening around us all we want, but in the end, we are likely to be quite surprised about what happens. The best we can do is be right with God through faith in what He has done in Christ for us.
If anything, Obama (or any US president) would be a western king, not a southern king (in reference to the Middle East).
