On this thread we can ask questions about the Bible, God, and Christianity that are potentially hard questions. The purpose is to build each other up and for the fun of it. Anybody can ask questions.

Question 8: Are we to obey the Old Testament laws on sacrificing?
No, no sacrifce we can give meets the requirements. Jesus Christ, as the Lamb of God, fulfilled ALL the sacrifices in his dying upon the Cross.
Question 9: Who was the great-grandson of Aram, according to the Christological genealogy in the beginning of Matthew?
According to the Gospel of Matthew, it is Salmon (pronounced sal-mone not sam-on). 1st Chronicles states that it is Salma. The Book of Ruth agrees with the Gospel of Matthew that it is Salmon. The Gospel of Luke says Salmon (although some early manuscripts say Sala). These are not contradictions, as some who are inexperienced with the culture and language of the Bible would think. Sometimes names vary, caused by translations from other languages. For example, one person is called in the Hebrew language Yehôshûa‛ (H: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ). It can be translated into English as Joshua, or into Greek as Iēsous (G: Ἰησοῦς) and then translated into English as Jesus. In that case, Jesus is just a variation of Joshua. We are talking about the same person. It is likely similar with Salmon, not a contradiction, but just how it was translated from one language to another.
Do any Bibles say Salma instead?
A lot say Salma in the First Book of Chronicles. I don't think any say Salma in the Gospel of Matthew.
Question 10: Does God have an opinion; and if so, are there any biblical evidences?
God's word is authoritative; His opinion is equivalent to fact (Isaiah 55:11). The term opinion is never really connected with God, although the Law is.
