Hewo! My name Josh and I really wanted to know! I know that Jesus can give his people "gifts" but can the devil, as well?
Then that would mean that Jesus would be in Hell for eternity, but according to the Bible, he went to Heaven after dying. I mean, how does that make any sense, right? It's like, say, you go and get fined for jaywalking, right, and the judge says that the fine for jaywalking if infinity dollars, and I'm a good guy, alright, so I step into that courtroom and I pay three dollars to the judge, and then I go home and I sit in my hottub. Does that mean I saved you and you're free to go? Nuh-uh, I don't think so.
Well, recently I've been wondering, in which verse did it say that the Messiah would be God's only Son. All I ever read of is that the Messiah would be a great King and a prophet at the same time. Some Jews believed that there would be two Messiahs; the King Messiah (Son of David) and the Prophet Messiah (Son of Joseph from Rabbinic Tradition).
Bible Events in April:
The Bible Events occuring in December 2016 (included with dates) are:
*Sunday December 25th- The Birth of Jesus Christ is celebrated. In case you did not know December 25th is not the actual birthday of Jesus, but the day its observed on. Clues in Jesus's birth account and general assumptions can reason that his birth probably took place during the summer (I encourage reading Luke 1 for details)
*Tuesday December 27th- John the Apostle is celebrated (article needs major expansion)
December has only three people. Two of these people were Apostles and some of the most infuential and important people in the establishment and spread of Christianity. However it is the one the religion is named for that truly is cause for celebration. Take time this December and Christmas to reflect upon each of these men, study and write about what they did. Without their actions the world may be without hope in this world of darkness.
The month of August has quite a few events. Lots of people to write about and read about, in particular many great people and events during the time of Jesus Christm on Earth in the New Testament. Here are the biblical people and events for August:
There are several articles here that either do not exist or need great expansion. This would be a great opportunity to do that as it would be relevant around their holiday. Maybe you don't know about these people or events- their holiday is one of the best times to refresh and learn about their accounts and how they made an impact on history. Whether its reading, writing or both we hope you take this opportunity using our Liturgical Calendar to further immerse yourself in history, that provides so many examples to us today.
If you've answered yes to ANY of these questions ........ you need help, man.
When I read The NLT version of when Jesus talked about "Blasphemy being the Eternal Sin".In that verse of that version,He said "Blasphemy against Me,The Son of Man, can be forgiven, but Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit cannot be Forgiven.
