Adoniram, son of Ada, was an officer in the service of King Solomon and of his son Rehoboam in the 11th century BC.[1] He was in charge of inscripting laborers to support the building projects of the realm. When Rehoboam sent hid out to greatly increase the already heavy load, a violent mob in Israel executed him by stoning.[2]
