What is an Administrator and what are their duties
An Administrator are Users communally, peer, or bureaucratically selected and or elected that are granted access to extra technical and authoritative powers. Administrators are in charge of enforcing guidelineson the site. Administrators are also in charge of dealing with vandalism, and users interfering or harming the workflow of the wiki. An Administrator will also be responsible for overall community health, and interacts with Wikia Community support. Technically or tools wise Administrators are granted the following additional privileges to the interface
- Administrators may delete or undelete pages of obvious vandalism or pages marked for deletion and deal with them accordingly
- Merge history of a page, and easily undo or rollback (undo all edits of a single contributor to the previous one) previous contributions of a page
- Raise or lower protection of pages, and more easily review certain types of edits
- Delete, undelete or manage images and multimedia files efficiently
- Block or unblock disruptive or spam users
