Death is the leaving of a person from the physical world. Death refers not just to the physical end of a person's body, but also their spiritual death. Jesus came to conquer death and to give those who are in Him new life. Death will also be the last thing to be destroyed in the end times.[1]

God's creation[]
God created humans after his own image. He made man and woman in his own image[2], Adam and Eve; whom he loved and cherished. Since God is a just and righteous god[3] he gave them free will. He commanded Adam and Eve to eat of any fruit of the garden, except the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil[4]. Just like God gives us the choice to follow the narrow gate and the broad way[5].
Temptation of Sin and Cause of Death[]
The serpent was the shrewdest of all the animals which God created, on one day the serpent asked Eve to disobey God, that God provokes them from eating of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil because they will be like him and as powerful as him[6]. Tempted by it's request, Eve ate of the fruit and gave it to her husband and he did ate[7].
All of a sudden they felt shame at their nakedness, and covered themselves with fig leaves[8] . When God had found out about this foolishness, he cursed Adam and Eve of labour and death[9].
