|Bear||Hebrew: דֹּב (dob)||Bears are described as fierce and protective creatures, that the Lord's wrath is compared to facing a bear.
In the future, bears are described as grazing with cows.
David defended his flock against lions and bears with the help of the Lord.
|Camel||Hebrew: גָּמָל (gamal)
Greek: κάμηλος (kamélos)
|Camels were utilised for travel and transporting goods. Having several camels was also a sign of wealth. Camels are described as one of the few hoofed animals that are unclean animal and unfit for eating.
Jesus illustrated that it is easier for a camel go to through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter Heaven. Although, the wise men are depicted as riding camels in popular culture it is never specified in the Bible. However, it was likely their mode of transport.
