Hey Ayak. I see you are a new editor here. Welcome! I wanted to personally extend appreciation for your clean up edits (good finds).
I wanted to let you know we have an IM channel where you can connect with users of the site and the admins if you are interested.
I hope I can be a resource to you as you help make God's word more known (and prayerfully in your own life) through this ministry. Most importantly, let me know how I can help you in your own study of the Bible.

Thank you! I came across the site and thought it's a great resource to be involved in. I'm a minister in the UK and have had some biblical training but I'd like to keep learning and helping others too. The IM chat sounds like a great idea.
Thanks again for your welcome and contributions to this ministry.
I'd love to talk with you more and hear about yourself, your ministry, etc.
The main challenge here is being able to sustain enough editors to actually cause the site to grow (both in terms of content and userbase). When there is not enough activity, it makes the wiki less attractive, but the problem is having enough activity to create more of it in the first place.
For a long time I have thought of doing this as a "serious ministry". I am a student in college pursuing a Bible degree in hopes of becoming a biblical scholar. I am not really sure what God has store for this site, our blog or any of the other ideas floating around in my head. As I enter "real life" more the role of this wiki in my life becomes less certain. (there's another admin in his 60's- who I literally think is a Godsend, who has some seminary training but never had any ministry vocation)
Anywho I'd love to talk with you more and hear about you and hopefully get you plugged in. As you can tell, I love to share with users the vision for the site (though I often become preoccupied on the means rather than the end goal).

Hi there. I’m an Administrator of Bible Wiki. Seeing your participation at Zebulun (Patriarch) I wanted to welcome you to the site. Not only is Bible Wiki an encyclopedia, but we are also a community and ministry. For Christians this website provides a unique way to both study, and share the Bible simultaneously through both writing articles and commenting on relevant discussion. Even if you are not a Christian, you are more than welcome to comment on discussion and ask your questions about the Bible or add accurate historical information drawn from the Bible.
Nevertheless Bible Wiki is striving to become the Internet’s most comprehensive database covering the Bible and its contents, from a Biblical Point of View. In order to achieve this goal we need users like you to help us write and develop our content. Our only rule is that all articles are written from a Biblical Point of View, and follow some basic grammatical structure (see the link for more information). We wish to provide an alternative to the secular bias found in such resources as Wikipedia in order to bring glory to God, the ultimate author of the Bible.
We have several articles on aspects of Biblical doctrine, persons, events, cities, nations and the literary composition of its books. We also have programs like our Liturgical Calendar, and monthly Bible reading that you can use to aide in reading your Bible more often. Check out our Community Portal for ideas on how to get involved.
I hope to see you writing, participating and discussing on our site. If you have any questions about the Bible, this site, or any prayer requests do not hesitate to contact me.
