Hi Snowstripe (Jerry), its been a while. I just wanted to let you know that we have an upcoming livestream on Thurs June 8th at 6:30pm CST/7:30 pm EST/ 4:30 pm PST. We will be going Behind the Names of the Bible, particuarly in Genesis 4 and 5 and look at how the meanings of the names reveal the progression of evil in mankind. You can see more information here.
Rememember, you are always welcome here and we (me, SouthWriter, Christian and others if/when they are on) be here to help you with your struggles in sin- I have not forgotten you, much as God has not forgotten you. God will never test you with a temptation (though God does not tempt himself ) that is uncommon to mankind and that you cannot escape.

Thanks for adding verses and names to Jesus Christ, but I had to go behind you and cleanup your references. Just to let you know, the references automatically link the verses to Bible Gateway so you just have to add the verse in the references like this:
In fact, adding anything but a verse in the reference breaks it, so try to only add verses in references like in the example above. Don't feel bad about being corrected (if you do), I had to be taught this as well when I joined a couple years ago.
Hi Jerry. It seems that either you or I missed our planned meeting. If you still feel the need to discuss your struggles with temptation and sin let me know a time that can work for you. I can meet for a half hour to an hour to discuss in more detail. I also see you have been discussing with Christian about his experiences and insight in well. Myself, Henry, Christian and others are praying for you and working to restore you as it descibres in Galatians.
The best thing I can give you for our next conversation is further encouragement and reminding of some of the essentials to allowing sin to die.

I will be praying for you. Remember everything I said. As I learn more about the struggle, I will let you know so that you may benefit and beat this bondage. We can't let Satan have a stronghold in your life.
I was looking among our pics and saw this picture.
What is this? Being a homosexual and being a eunuch are two different things. Completely different. Strong's Greek Dictionary defines the word "eunuch" used in those verses as this:
εὐνοῦχος eunouchos yoo-noo'-khos From εὐνή eunē (a bed) and G2192; a castrated person (such being employed in Oriental bed chambers); by extension an impotent or unmarried man; by implication a chamberlain (state officer): - eunuch.
Not even in the slightest sense does it mean to be a homosexual.
That is a mutation. It is a result of the curse brought about by Sin when Adam and Eve fell. It is not part of God's original design. But those that have this issue can still be used by God to do His good, pleasing and perfect will. Even they can be saved, in spite of their mutation.
I wanted to make a couple of comments including praises and things to improve on for the Angel of the Lord article. I wanted to say that I was very impressed with your introduction to the article and the vocabulary you used to convey what/who the Angel of the Lord was. At the same time this vocabulary may not be the clearest. I will leave up to you whether or not it should be worded better or not, but nevertheless you did some excellent writing on that account.
I did improve on one thing in particular, verse referencing. Rather than copy-pasting over an entire verse passage just provide the verse address without the version. The current dialog box makes it look like you should paste the whole thing. Originally this was only one line, but a recent update on Wikia has expanded it to be multi-line. The wiki does not accept any particular version of the Bible as being the same as the original authorative Word of God, not to mention copyright issues, possible error in copying, inconsistent format etc. Instead of calling the section "References" the sections hould be labeled "Verses" and the verse refs should be the address of the verse (without version) itself.
I am proud you took the opportunity to write on the article. Continue the great work.
