The reason for this is pretty obvious: the King James Version of the Holy Bible is clearly a product of the 17th Century, and while it has received updates to the point of being what it is today, people of the modern era who are trying to understand the timeless truths of the Bible are still going to stumble over the antiquated language of the King James Version. I know there will be defenders who will say that those words are "spiritual words" and that only the Holy Spirit should be allowed to translate its meaning, but I personally feel that that kind of reasoning is both a disservice to spreading the gospel to all the nations and a total cop-out, an excuse made by elitists who want to keep people from finding out the truth of the Word of God. The devil is trying to keep people from knowing the truth of the Word and is using everything in his power to do so, even the pride and the intellectualism of the King James Version-only defenders. I know this may sound harsh to those who love the King James Version and will die defending it as "the only true translation of the Word of God", but the truth must be told regardless of who it offends. You can't hide timeless truth behind an antiquated form of English if you're going to preach the gospel to every creature.
